Ernest Ehabe
  Preaching the Good News
“When I was coming to Christ, I thought I was doing it all myself, and though I sought the Lord earnestly, I had no idea the Lord was seeking me.”
Ernest Ehabe was born in Tombel, in the South West Province of Cameroon. One of many children of a prominent magician and businessman. His very early years were characterized by a sincere search for ultimate peace and truth. He unconditionally surrendered his life to Jesus’ Lordship at the age of thirteen. One of the first in his tribe to do so. Ernest's life has been characterized by trials and triumphs and a yearning to know God better as well as make him known to others.

Ernest immigrated to North America to attend college in the 80s. He has earned degrees in sociology, Political Science, Professional Development and Theological Studies . He spends a large portion of his time in both Africa and the USA, coordinating mission outreaches.
   Ministry

"I am daily convinced that God has called me to serve Him by serving the marginalized, poor peripheral human communities that are hungry to know the Son of God, and to make Jesus Christ known to them."

Since 1980, Ernest has directly and indirectly been involved in evangelism, church planting and social action across West Africa. In the last ten years, he has been involved with efforts of reaching Africans in North America and the continent of Africa, often challenging them to change the destiny of their continent on the basis of a Christian world view. Bread For Life and its subsidiaries are a direct result of Ernest's burden and desire to contribute to the holistic development of Africa and the world.

COMMENTS BY PASTORS AND LEADERS

“Ernest Ehabe is one of the finest and unique Christians that I have met in my 35 years of teaching and serving as a minister. He has distinguished himself both as an ‘ambassador’ for the Christian faith and morality. He is blessed with keen insights. He is making a most significant contribution to the church here in the USA, as well as the church in Africa through his outreaches .I believe Ernest has captured the basic message of the gospel in the name of his organization, Bread For Life. I enthusiastically commend him as a challenging speaker for church, youth, and adults’ groups.”

-Dr. Charles De Santo Ph.D. former Professor of Sociology, Perdue University, and Presbyterian Minister, Fort Wayne, IN

“In 1 Chronicles 12:32, Ezra the priest refers to the sons of Issachar as ‘men who understood the times, with knowledge of what Israel should do.’ Ernest Ehabe understands the hour, and has a vision of what Africa must do. I thoroughly endorse this vision.”

Dr. Joe M. Taylor, Senior Pastor, Southern Oaks Baptist Church, Kerrville, TX

“Ernest Ehabe is a man of integrity and the highest ideals in lifestyle and ministry. I believe Ernest has a strong call on his life to the nations as an evangelist and teacher. Ernest Ehabe is not only appreciated here at Fellowship of Christians, he is very much loved…which is the acid test for effective ministry over the long haul. I wholeheartedly recommend Ernest as a bold witness for the cause of Christ.”

E. Wayne Drain, Senior Pastor/Musician, Fellowship of Christians, Russellville, AR

“I have never met a more selfless and compassionate person than Ernest Ehabe.”

Dr. Darlingston G. Johnson, Bishop/General Overseer
Bethel World Outreach Church/Ministries, Silver Spring, MD

“Ernest has ministered at our church on a number of occasions, and each time he brings a fresh, pure, sincere message that challenges our hearts. It is very refreshing to see the call of God being taken so seriously and to see a real desire to reach the lost. Ernest Ehabe has a great touch of the Lord on his life and I, without reservations, endorse and recommend his ministry.”

Del Way, Senior Pastor, Calvary Temple Church, Del Way Ministries, Kerrville, TX

“I have known of Ernest’s work in America, and have had the opportunity of ministering with him in his home country of Cameroon. His exuberance to share the gospel with the lost and in training national leaders is so real and evident. Our ministries work closely together, but the greatest privilege is to call him my friend.”

Dallas Turner, former Pastor- Kerrville Bible Church
President- Onboard Ministry, Keller, TX

“Before God can raise up a ministry, He must first raise up ‘a Vessel for honor, sanctified, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work.’ Ernest is such a vessel. His agenda and vision are from the Holy Spirit…”

Pastor Bob Collins, Former Pastor, Georgetown Foursquare Church, Georgetown, TX

“Mr. Ernest Ehabe worked as a counselor at Bachman Memorial Home with adolescent boys…and always did quality work…He always impressed me as a man of superior integrity and dedication…”

Rev. Graeme W. Sieber, Executive Director
Bachman Memorial Home, Cleveland/Chattanooga, TN

“Ernest Ehabe is a man whose life has been touched by God and who longs for others to experience His touch. Sensitive to the Holy Spirit, attentive to the Scripture, wise beyond his years, and balanced in his theological understandings. Ernest labors, with zeal and energy and personal integrity, to fulfill the vision that the Lord Jesus Christ has given him: to change men and women from the inside out through the power of the gospel. His ministry is holistic, ministering to body, soul, and spirit. And he seeks to bless not only his native people but also those who, in this country, co-labor with him in the work of the Lord. I wholeheartedly support the work of this dear brother.”
